Jonathan Baker, RA
Jonathan has been a licensed architect in New York State for over 20 years, and has more than 30 years of experience in design and construction. A graduate of Princeton University and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, he worked at SHoP Architects and Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill prior to co-founding Formworks in 2019. Jonathan is a Certified Passive House Consultant and has taught at Pratt Institute. He lives in Cutchogue, NY with his daughter and wife where he enjoys easy access to the ocean and Formwork’s projects on the eastern end of Long Island, though he is happy to also have an office in NYC.
Yu Duk So, RA
Duk has almost 30 years of professional experience designing and completing projects of various uses and scales. Prior to co-founding Formworks, Duk worked as a Designer at Davis Brody Bond Architects, Design Director at Greenberg Farrow Architects and a Design Principal at S9 / Perkins Eastman. Notable projects include Empire Stores, Dock 72/WeWork at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Industry City, Ponce City Market, 205 Water Street, Uniqlo Soho Flagship Store, and the Harlem Offices for President Clinton. Duk received a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Building Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a registered architect in New York State. He lives in the Lower East Side in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
